Mandatory Advisement Workshops - All Colleges (Irvine Campus)

All students who have earned between 78-84 units are required to attend one Mandatory Advisement Workshop held September 22nd through October 21st. At the workshop, your college's Graduation Specialist will review the following information: • Overall degree progress according to your current Titan Degree Audit • Applying for Graduation • Commencement vs. Graduation • Deferral vs. Diploma • Misconceptions that may prevent you from graduating in a timely manner • Preparing for graduate school and/or careers in your field • Any additional questions or concerns you may have YOU MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS: 1. Register for a workshop. There are several workshops offered at the Fullerton Campus, and some limited seating available at the Irvine Campus. a. Refer to the email sent to your CSUF email account for the link to register for a workshop at the Fullerton Campus. 2. Complete the workshop assignment. Students must bring the completed assignment with them to the workshop. a. Click here for the workshop assignment: https://goo.gl/8hwtc3 3. Attend your scheduled workshop. a. Bring your completed assignment along with a printed copy of your TDA or be ready to pull up an electronic copy on your smart phone. b. Bring your student ID c. Complete the required Exit Survey at the end of the workshop – this crucial step ensures removal of the University Advising Hold that will appear in the Student Center of your CSUF Student Portal. Please note that attendance at one of these workshops DOES NOT clear any other major department advising holds.
